This is an incredible spot for free camping with numerous stunning beaches. Just keep in mind that there are no nearby drinkable water or toilet facilities, so it's advisable to bring your own water. The beaches can be accessed with a regular two-wheel drive car, although the road leading to them is unpaved and quite bumpy. For the best view, make sure to camp along the edges of the cliffs. Fortunately, there is usually plenty of space between campers, so you won't be bothered by neighbors. It's a good idea to bring some firewood when fire restrictions are not in place, as there isn't much burnable wood around. Keep in mind that it can get windy and chilly at night.
Stayed at the "free" caravan park for $10 a night. Unfortunately, we chose the wrong weekend, as there was a group partying all weekend, prompting us to leave a day early. The park has eco-friendly toilets and showers. Fishing is better in the summer when mats are placed on the beach for easier vehicle access.
It was a pleasant experience with a brief drive along a dirt road, offering a nice and secluded spot.
Dette er den bedste strand, jeg nogensinde har besøgt, og du kan endda køre på den. Det bedste er, hvor afsondret og klart vandet er!
This beach was pleasantly secluded and despite the wind, it was enjoyable to run down the sand dunes. Check out our Australian adventures on Instagram @sambolomio.
