The powdery sand beaches are a highlight, and you can snorkel right from the shore, especially in front of the boat house. There are both busy and quiet pool areas to choose from, and the staff is friendly. The rooms are spacious, though some only have a deep tub with a handheld sprayer instead of a shower. The buffet is a better dining option compared to the restaurant, which wasn't worth the late sittings. Snack bars are also a good choice. The place is overall clean and decently maintained. We traveled with 2 adults and 3 kids, and everyone had a great time. Although we didn't use the kids club, we did enjoy the nightly "mini-disco." We won't be returning, but it was worth the price.

This small resort is absolutely amazing! The people here deserve 5+ stars, they truly make this place special. My family and I recently had a fantastic vacation here and we just left feeling absolutely thrilled. I want to give a special shout out to Yordan and Armando at the pool bar. These guys work incredibly hard, always with a big smile on their faces. We never had any trouble finding something delicious to eat! The variety of cuisine available was always impressive. Personally, I loved the omelet station. The quality of a vacation greatly depends on the open-mindedness with which you approach it. Unfortunately, I encountered a few individuals and read some reviews from people who simply don't understand life. It's important to remember that Cuba is a third world country that is doing their best. I want to express my gratitude to Dhawa for providing us with such an amazing vacation.

We're having an amazing time here, just like we always do! This is our second visit and we definitely plan on returning. The staff is absolutely incredible, both the entertainment staff who keep us entertained and the hotel staff who go above and beyond. The weather is fantastic and the pool is fantastic, not to mention the stunning beach. We highly recommend it, 15 out of 10! We love Melia Las Dunas.

Vi tilbragte 8 nætter på stranden. Strandene er helt fantastiske, og beliggenheden er som en drøm. Selve hotellet har dog et desperat behov for renovering. Hele stedet er meget gammelt, inklusive værelserne, som bare er okay. Håndklæder, lagner og andet sengetøj har ofte pletter og virker snavsede. Servicekvaliteten er anstændig, hvor strandpersonalet er meget venligt og drikkevarer serveret hvert 30. minut. Dog mangler betjeningen på restauranterne, hvor nogle tjenere er venlige og opmærksomme, mens andre virker umotiverede. Det største problem, og årsagen til min 2/5-stjerneklassificering, er maden. Det er simpelthen dårligt, og til tider var vi væmmede af det. Det er svært at forstå, hvordan et hotel kan servere mad af så dårlig kvalitet. De, der hævder, at maden er lækker i deres anmeldelser, skal enten bestikkes eller ikke have smagsløg.

We spent 9 days here, and I must say, you won't find a beach as beautiful as this one anywhere else. The resort is enormous, well-maintained, and the staff and management are fantastic. You won't go hungry here; they have food for everyone. This was our second trip in three months, and we will definitely be returning again in the very near future.
