Kitty Hawk Beach bedste strande

For years, I used to park in the lot behind the hotel at the pier. I would stroll along the beach, searching for shells and capturing sunrise photos. It was always the highlight of my vacation. But not anymore. The hotel has acquired the pier and now uses it for special events. A parking lot attendant now oversees the lot, and it's reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

Udsigten fra molen var helt fantastisk! Vi besøgte molen tre gange - en gang om dagen, før solnedgang, og igen om aftenen - og alle tre besøg var fantastiske. Om aftenen var der live musik udenfor, hvilket bidrog til den behagelige stemning. På trods af varmen var der en forfriskende brise på molen. Man kunne endda se vores hår blæse i vinden som bevis på det.
