Stunning location. Ample paid parking available on site. I've visited numerous times, but it gets too crowded during the summer season. This time, we had a BBQ and enjoyed the lovely sunshine. It's a great spot for kids, with an ice-cream shop and dining area. There are bathrooms, changing rooms, plenty of seating, and a green area for playing and relaxing.
This beach is a hidden gem, but it can be a bit chilly. Make sure to stop by the Sands coffee shop - it's definitely worth it.
We didn't have swimsuits, so my sister and I took the plunge in our vests and knickers, accompanied by three dogs. The setting was stunning. Make sure to bring old pumps or trainers for your feet and enjoy the experience. We followed it up with a chippy tea at Chip Ahoy and a pint in Pittenweem. Life in Fife at its brilliant best👌😎🐶🏴❤️😎👌
The location is fantastic with a beautiful beach, but I won't be coming back. The toilet/shower block isn't just outdated; it's downright disgraceful. Sure, there was hot water and toilet paper, but that's about it. There are no locks on the doors, no place to put your clothes or toiletries, and no soap or hand dryers/paper towels. The building is in dire need of a complete renovation. At £32 a night, it's one of the pricier sites. It's a pity because with some improvements, this could be an excellent spot.
