This family beach has been a popular tourist destination for over 50 or 60 years, but the Mar Menor has been relatively neglected. Despite this, it is still easy to access and has become increasingly crowded during the summer months.

Playa del Estacio isn't bad, I guess. It's got parking and you can bring your pooches, so that's nice. Not sure why you'd want to bring your dog to the beach, but hey, it's an option.

That place may not be the most impressive, but the views are spectacular! Take in the stunning sights while you relax and soak up the sun.

This place is an ideal spot for a family day out with something for everyone! 8km of seafront promenade makes it perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more energetic jog. The paving stones have helpful distance markers for those who want to track their progress. Kids will love the warm, inviting water and there are plenty of foot showers for a quick rinse afterwards. There are also a few bars and restaurants nearby for when you need a break from the sun.

A sight to behold - if you can look past the stench of seaweed. On a windy day, the smell can be downright unbearable. But if you can manage to ignore the olfactory assault, it's a great spot to spend a day.
