We ventured out for a couple of nights and settled in the middle of the beach. The sky at night was pitch black, a perfect setting for some serious stargazing. The stretch of beach at this point was not as expansive and polished as it is further up north. Instead, it was a steep and narrow strip cluttered with driftwood, making it impossible to take a leisurely stroll. The waves were fierce, so we didn't even dare to dip our toes in the water. While it may not be the ideal spot for beach lovers, it certainly is a hidden gem, off the beaten path, and a truly unique Costa Rican experience.
