When the sea goes fully out, the beach reveals rock pools on the right side, as well as a shallow depth along the full stretch of beach; ideal for toddlers and small children. To the left of the beach, the waves are higher ideal for body boards.
There are footpaths over the dunes and through the wooded area if you fancy a light trek.
The small stream that comes down onto the beach sometimes turns into a small pool/lagoon again, ideal for small children and toddlers.
This year, there was a thin stretch of stones and shells to navigate across to get to the sea across some parts of the beach.
It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area wanting a beach day.
