Khaolak Beach

As I sit here, admiring this very big stone, I start to ponder life and death, and how nothing can remain beautiful forever. But some things can remain beautiful for a longer while, such as this very big stone. How long did it take for this stone to form? How did it end up where it is now? How long will it take for the wind and the rain and the salty kisses of the ocean waves to break this very big stone down enough for it to no longer be the very big stone which it once was. How many others have shared special moments in the presence of this very large stone? And how many have shared unpleasant ones? One cannot know, but it does no harm to wonder. As I sit on this very large stone, I watch the turquoise water crash down on the pebbles of sand, thinking about how there are more stars in the universe than pebbles of sand on Earth, and yet we’re all so caught up on what our Instagram or Facebook timeline looks like and how people will perceive us. We fail to remember how small we are in comparison to everything. We forget that nothing really matters, and focusing on unimportant things like our timelines and how our ex treated us poorly 2 years ago is only wasting energy, energy that can be spent on meeting new people, exploring new places, learning a new hobby, reading a good book, learning a new language, or even watching the sunset on a very big rock in Khao Lak, Thailand. This is indeed a very large stone. Would recommend.

Noteworthy stone must be seen on the coast of Khao Lak. Indeed, it is a very big stone you can see from the distance. A place to enjoy the sunset or the clear water of the sea. Some beautiful cafes with outdoor seating around.

While you can visit the rock at night and avoid the crowds, I would still recommend doing the day to get a better view due to a lack of lights.

An undeniable magnificence, the most gargantuan stone I have ever laid eyes on. Legend has it that if you circle this stone 3 times, you will feel its power course through your veins. All your wishes will thenceforth come true. A must visit along the Khao Lak coast.

That thing was too big to be called a boulder. Too big, too thick, too heavy, and too rough, it was more like a very large hunk of stone! Loved every minute, took the risk and went when the tide was in so our view was slightly spoilt but we beat the queues.
