A stunning oasis where you can bask in the glory of Mother Nature and find inner peace. Sure, it's technically a nude beach, but don't let that scare you off. Only a handful of people were actually in the buff when we visited. Personally, I found it a bit awkward to keep my clothes on while others were letting it all hang out. It's a classic case of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." As for family-friendliness, well, let's just say there are other nudist spots that might be more up your alley.

I had the privilege of exploring Praia da Galheta, the solitary nude beach in Florianpolis, Brazil, and it was an incredibly liberating experience. While this is an incredible experience, it is important to exercise caution. The locals have warned me about some unsavory individuals who have been known to frequent the beach, so it is best to visit with a group or sit close to other groups. If you're seeking an unforgettable adventure, Praia da Galheta should be at the top of your list. With its magnificent views, thrilling waters, and an indescribable sense of liberation, it is an experience that will remain with you forever.

Although the trail was challenging with overgrown bushes and steep, slippery gravel parts, the journey was worth it to reach the stunning beach with crystal-clear waters and big waves. It's important to note that there may be a mix of clothed and nude beach-goers.
