This beach in Lanzarote is a must-see destination! Even if you're not looking to soak up the sun, swim, or windsurf, the views are simply breathtaking. I visited late in the afternoon when the sea was relatively calm and the waves lapped softly against the shore. I was in the northern part, just north of the Urb. Famara residences, and the cliff behind me was lit up beautifully by the setting sun. The beach was fairly deserted, making it a truly awe-inspiring experience. It's a great spot to watch the sunset and admire the light reflecting off the sand and water. Unfortunately, I didn't stay until nightfall, but I would still recommend it. Several camper vans were parked nearby, likely to take in the sunset and spend a peaceful evening. To get to the northern stretch of beach, you'll have to drive on a dirt road behind Urb. Famara.
