Travessia Beach

We had an incredible stay at Travessia. The room was like a dream and the service was top-notch. Raul and Edo were always extremely attentive to our needs. Asi and Tk also made our stay extra special. They took great care of us and made our trip unforgettable. From providing us with bikes to explore the beach to serving delicious food, everything was perfect. We had lots of laughs and made wonderful memories. Thank you for this amazing experience. We will definitely choose to stay with you again when we return.

Travessia beach lodge is a hidden gem that remains untouched by civilization. It is far away from the noise of city life and there is nothing pretentious about it. It is a place that you never want to leave. Ben and his team went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with biscuits to start each day. Esse, the darling dog, accompanied us on beach walks, and TK the Frenchie would occasionally stop by for a quick rub. The meals were absolutely incredible, with fresh seafood, local vegetables, and an abundance of fresh seasonal fruit, all carefully prepared by Ben and his team. Raoul, Ebu, and Frans were always available. Ben was excellent at organizing and booking day trips. Our room, Balelia, was lovely and had a fantastic outdoor shower with a view of the beach. The sunrise, sunsets, and clear skies were truly magical. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. We are grateful to Ben and the team at Travessia lodge for creating such a special experience, and we can't wait to visit again.

Travessia is the perfect destination for those seeking relaxation. There are only a few lodges situated directly on the beach amidst the dunes, but the abundance of greenery and breathtaking views make up for it. The place is absolutely stunning, and both Ben and Adel, along with the rest of the staff and their adorable dogs, are incredibly friendly. After flying in from Germany, it was the ideal way to kick off our vacation. We are truly grateful to Ben and Adel for making our stay so memorable. Thank you, Judith & Stephan!

Travessia lodge is absolutely amazing. Adel and Ben went above and beyond to make sure our stay was absolutely perfect. The meals were incredibly delicious, featuring fresh fish, local vegetables, and an abundance of seasonal fruit, all expertly prepared by Adel and the chefs. Ben did a fantastic job organizing activities both at the lodge, such as archery, kayaking, and cycling, as well as off-site options like deep sea fishing, ocean safari, and village walks. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, with an incredible outdoor shower that overlooked the beach. The sunrises, sunsets, and clear skies were truly breathtaking. Every aspect of Travessia lodge was flawless, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had such a memorable week immersing ourselves in the local culture and exploring Mozambique.
