A fantastic sheltered beach just 20 minutes from Westport. The access road is easy to navigate, and there's a very spacious car park with decent public toilets located at the rear. A coffee shop is within walking distance. The beach itself is sandy and protected at the back. There's a nice pier and a couple of very pretty smaller beaches nearby. It's an ideal spot for paddle boarding or sea kayaking, with a surf rental shop in the car park, though there were no waves for surfing on the day I visited. Overall, it's great for kids and offers good services.
