Another one of Tasmania's beautiful beaches ⛱️. White fine sand and clear blue sea. Stunning for a walk or swim 🏊‍♂️. It also has a designated off the lead area for our K9 family members.

Hawley Beach is the most beautiful, child friendly beach in Tasmania. Protected against the Southerly, Westerly and even Northerly Winds this Beach can be visited all year around. Plenty clean amenities and picnic with barbecue facilities. Wheelchair friendly venue. Iconic lichen capped boulders. Ideal beach and bay for swimming, kayak, sailing, swimming and kite surfing. Amazing photography opportunities. This is a must see in Tasmania

Visited in the evening, windy and low tide, watching the rising tide. Chill and relax.

Hawley Beach is a lovely “Bay of Fires” beach – white sand and red rocks – in a little coast holiday town just 15 minutes drive from the ferry. The water is clean but freezing, and non-existent waves make it fairly safe to swim at (but watch out for big tides and strong winds carrying off inflatables). There’s not really anywhere to eat near here, so bring a picnic, or head back towards Devonport and the Ghost Rock Winery or shopping centre. Change rooms and toilets are modern and clean, and there’s plenty of room to set up your own picnic spot on the sane, or on the grass behind.

Absolute sensational view and an absolute beautiful and perfect beach. Best beach I've ever been to. Very blue and clean water too. Definitely recommended.
