I only give 4 stars even though the site itself is well worth 5! Indeed we saw exceptional marine fauna as well as various varieties of fish, starfish, sea cucumber, and a well-hidden octopus. It's an extraordinary spot! Unfortunately, the lack of respect for tourists is real. I picked up trash in the water, what a shame..! Another vacationer in front of us brought back a starfish to show it to his wife and throw it at the water's edge even though we had seen it a few minutes earlier, well in its place in its natural environment and very much alive! From there, obviously curious children rushed to pick it up in their nets for mom and dad and take a bunch of photos while our poor star heated up in the sun! My companion got up, went to get it and put it back at the bottom of the water in its place... If only people could respect nature! Go take a trip to the biodiversarium in Banyuls and I guarantee that you will perceive things differently, and understand the life and roles of species, as well as underwater vegetation.

Beautiful little pebble beach, despite the passage of hikers on the coastal path 👍👍👍... Pleasant Snorkelling spot where fauna and flora are also changing compared to Ouille beach which is also pretty 👍👍👍.. . We highly recommend...And access is multiple and simple with plenty of space depending on arrival time 🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful sea with many fish to see. The water is beautifully clear. It is a pebble beach with some patches of sand. The walking route along the coast does pass over this beach, so many people sometimes walk past. Parking is fine, not a long walk to the beach.

Magnificent cove. Easy to access, parking at the Porteil coves nearby and access via a few secure paths and not too acrobatic descents to finally reach the cove. Magnificent landscape, shallow and transparent water. Tips: diving mask and snorkel essential or admire the numerous fish and sea urchins. Bring beach shoes because there are lots of stones. Not too many visitors. Very good time with the children. I recommend 👍
