The Southampton beach is a lovely, peaceful stretch of sand that goes on for about 4 kilometers. It's a perfect spot for families, romantic evenings, and even weddings. You can enjoy the sound of seagulls flying overhead and the waves crashing on the shore. While the beach itself is sandy, the ocean floor can vary from pebbly to rocky to sandy.
It's a good idea to wear water shoes for the rocky areas, and be aware that the water gets deep quickly near the large Canadian flag on the Southampton shoreline. For those who aren't strong swimmers or have young children, it's best to stick to the "South Beach" area.
We had a wonderful time at the beach with our family of six, including four young children and two adults. The sunsets were beautiful, and we even got to enjoy some live music during our visit.
