The beach is absolutely stunning, complete with beach volleyball courts. There is a small fee of approximately 10 euros per adult for entry. The lake water is crystal clear, the grass is well-maintained, and there are plenty of shaded areas. However, it's important to note that dogs are strictly prohibited.
The lake is beautiful and the entire area is wonderful. However, during my visit, it became unbearable to stay after 6pm due to the mosquitos. They were relentless! 😱
The place is clean and offers a beautiful panoramic view, but it was extremely crowded when we visited, leaving us with nowhere to sit :/. It must be really nice on less crowded days!
The entrance to this hidden gem of a beach at Zeller See may be easy to miss, but once you find it, you'll be greeted by friendly staff at the snack shack and a good selection of food and drinks. It's the perfect spot to relax on hot summer days by the water.
The place had just opened for the season, and the incredibly friendly owner arranged for us to sit outside in the sunshine with a view of the lake. We only had tea and sparkling water, but the fish menu looks promising. This would be a fantastic spot to visit in the summer.
