Mackay bedste strande

Great for long walks. We built a sun shelter, and you're welcome to add to it. 🤙 Low tide is ideal for young children. They can splash in the tidal pools without worrying about stingers.

This is the best beach in Mackay, with plenty of large trees providing shade, picnic tables, a playground, and toilet facilities. It's the perfect spot for a peaceful early morning beach walk.

Watch out for crocodiles, even though we didn't spot any, there are warning signs all around! This beach isn't ideal for swimming, but it's perfect for a leisurely stroll with stunning views. I'll definitely be returning to catch a glimpse of the kangaroos at sunrise. Surprisingly, the beach was deserted at 1pm!
