This is one of my all-time favorite beaches. It's picturesque with great temperatures and good waves. The beach is very long, perfect for a leisurely walk and simply enjoying the beach atmosphere.
This beach is located in a peaceful spot between Gladstone and Bundaberg and is truly remarkable. It is famous for being a turtle nesting beach, with loggerhead turtles making their way into the dunes almost every night from December to February. During the daytime, it is an ideal beach for dogs, and the surf conditions range from calm to rough. The beach stretches for about 2 kilometers and is not supervised. It is advisable to bring enough water and some shade, but the best part is that you can truly have this beach all to yourself.
