The walk down to the beach is very enjoyable, secluded, and perfect for a refreshing swim after the walk. Walking to West Head beach or Great Mackerel beach and back to the car park makes for a lovely day trip.

Located by the water, this spot offers a great view of boats and the opportunity for a refreshing dip in the lovely cool waters. It also has convenient parking and is close to a place to eat. However, it's not ideal for children under the age of 5, as there are no rails or fences to prevent them from running off and jumping into the water, making it unsafe if they are not closely supervised.

We began our journey at West Head Lookout and followed the Resolute Track. The descent is quite steep, but the effort is definitely worthwhile. From there, you get a clear view of Station Beach and Barrenjoey Lighthouse. It's also a great spot for a picnic!
