This beach is fantastic for exploring and sightseeing. Snorkeling was definitely worth it, and hiking up the hill offers breathtaking views. There's also a wonderful park where the kids can play afterward. Rangoon Island serves as an incredible backdrop and is a remarkable destination in its own right. It's not your usual beach, but it still gave us hours of enjoyment over several days.
This beach offers a sheltered spot to escape the wind. There are public toilets located at the amenities block in the center of the cabins. The nearest takeaway can be found by walking up the winding path at the north end (avoiding the large stairs), then turning left on Chapman St and right after 2 houses through a driveway to the shops. It's a great place to stop along the coast walk, especially in the morning. The beach is patrolled in the summer.
