To get to Silica Cove, simply drive through Honeymoon Bay campground until you reach a parking area. From there, walk through a green gate. Along the way, you'll come across a toilet facility. The walk to the beach is fairly easy and leads you to a stunning and peaceful shoreline. Additionally, there is a shipwreck located on the rocks. If you're up for it, you can either turn back or continue along the loop to also explore Target Beach. The signs are easy to follow throughout the route.
This beach is a hidden gem, tucked away in a secluded cove. The water is incredibly clear and teeming with fish, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling. Despite strong winds, the cove provides a sheltered area, free from crashing waves. However, just beyond the cove, the water can get quite choppy. To access this beach, you'll need to embark on a 20-minute hike from the Abraham's Bosom catpark, following the signs for Wreck Walk.
Topdestination på planeten. En lille rejse væk fra Sydney, men absolut besværet værd. Kystlinjerne er fantastiske, og du formår altid at sikre dig en plads på dem fra mine personlige møder.
This place is absolutely stunning. There is a small rock shelf at the southern end of the beach with a rock pool that is perfect for kids to play in. You can also find little fish and other sea creatures in the pool.
This beach offers beautiful scenery and stunning views. There's ample parking available, even on busy days, and it's conveniently close to cafes and public restrooms. Overall, it's an excellent spot for a picnic and is very conveniently located. The kids had a blast playing in the white sand. While it's not the cleanest beach I've visited, we still had a great time.
