We had a fantastic day celebrating my granddaughter Halle's birthday party at the beach. It was a great time spent with Evie's family, friends, my daughter Kylie, son Luke, and all the kids.

There's so much fun to be had at this beach. Although the lake's water level is low and not ideal for swimming, it offers a wonderful opportunity to observe various bird species and aquatic creatures, including sting rays. On the other hand, the oceanfront beach is in excellent condition, with gentle waves that are perfect for swimming. Plus, there are lifeguards on duty during school breaks.

On Thursday afternoons and Sunday evenings, the bar welcomes you! Relax with a few quiet drinks on the verandah or gather with friends at one of the larger tables inside. By visiting, you'll be supporting the Flynns Beach Surf Lifesaving Club and soaking in the club's rich history and stunning beach views. This place is truly special, and the drinks are refreshingly cold. If you're in town, don't miss the chance to experience the warm hospitality of the locals while enjoying a drink here.

Pilot Beach is located on the west side of the seawall, while Washhouse Beach is situated on the east side, as depicted in the photo. Unfortunately, the marker on Google Maps is incorrectly placed, and I am unable to edit the map as I normally would.

What a fantastic location! I visited on a Friday afternoon, and the beach was pleasantly quiet. They also offer camel rides here.
