We had a delightful sunset drink here while catching up with a local friend. We only wish we had discovered this spot earlier in our holiday. The atmosphere is very relaxed and clean, with friendly owners. They even have a fabulous dog! There’s easy access to the beach with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a gentle slope into the sea. We would definitely return.
Dette var den første strand, jeg besøgte på Barbados. Stranden har gyldent fint sand og krystalklart vand. Derudover er der nogle få palmetræer, der giver skygge fra solen.
While wandering along the eastern coastline, we happened upon a beach that boasted breathtaking vistas and a lively atmosphere. There were folks galloping on horseback, and locals casting their lines to reel in a catch. We even managed to snag a snook ourselves! To top it all off, a herd of amiable goats were milling about. However, the journey to reach this hidden gem was no walk in the park. We had to navigate a treacherous dirt road and trudge through a brief, but challenging, stretch on foot. Despite the hardships, the destination was well worth the effort. That being said, I would advise against taking a dip in the water here or anywhere along this stretch of the Atlantic coast, as the swells can be quite dangerous.
