This destination is an absolute gem for a short getaway! The beaches are immaculate and there is even a designated area for dog owners to bask in the sun with their furry friends. Although the nearby restaurants can be pricey, there are a multitude of options to choose from. It's advisable to bring along an umbrella and ample water to stay hydrated. Keep in mind that there is a 2€ entrance fee. Additionally, be prepared for a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the beach, roughly 10-15 minutes, so don't forget to apply sunscreen.

I dag var vores første besøg på Rerik strand, og vi blev behageligt overrasket over, hvor dejligt det var. Vi har helt sikkert planer om at vende tilbage i fremtiden. Parkeringssatsen for adgang til stranden var lidt stejl og kostede €1 for hver 30 minutter. Dog gjorde bekvemmeligheden ved at være lige ved stranden det det værd. Derudover var der gratis offentlige toiletter tilgængelige ved parkeringspladsen. Stranden tilbød rigelige muligheder for lange gåture, hvilket var perfekt for os, da vi havde vores hund med os. Alt i alt nød vi vores tid der i fulde drag.

This beach is truly remarkable! It offers a vast expanse of sandy shores that are perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. Despite its popularity, the beach maintains a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere in Kuehlungsborn. With convenient access to toilets, food, and drinks, you won't have to worry about a thing. The beach chairs are available for rent at a reasonable price of 13 euros per day, and the rental staff are friendly and accommodating. Don't forget to treat yourself to some delicious coffee and ice cream while you're here! Safety is also a top priority, as the DLRG is always on site to ensure that everyone can enjoy the beach with peace of mind. And of course, you can't forget about the seagulls - they add to the charm and beauty of this wonderful beach.

What a spectacular seaside destination! The water is perpetually as still as a statue, making it perfect for pooches who prefer to paddle about rather than swim. The parking lot is a breeze to get to and will only set you back a measly 1.5 euros for a two-hour stay. A leisurely stroll of about 10 minutes will get you to the sand, where you'll find plenty of elbow room to enjoy some quality time with your furry friend. Even though there were a few folks around when I visited, there was still ample space to frolic with my pup without being bothered.
