The beauty of the natural surroundings and the stunning beaches are undeniable. However, the locals who own the beaches and restaurants seem unaccustomed to dealing with tourists, resulting in subpar service and inflated prices. Shockingly, we received three different quotes for the same umbrellas and sunbeds from three different individuals at the same beach. We ended up paying an exorbitant price of 2000 lek for one umbrella and two sunbeds, which would have been acceptable if the services were up to par. Unfortunately, the beach was extremely crowded, and the beds were uncomfortably close to each other. Ksamil is a place where you pay top dollar for substandard services. Either the quality of service must improve, or the prices must come down.

If this beach is rated #18 in Albania then the others must be heavenly beaches as this is the best beach I have ever visited.

Vi blev lidt overraskede, da vi kørte fra Durres og skulle passere gennem et industriområde, videre ad en ujævn vej med havet på den ene side og et sumpet marskområde på den anden. Vi overvejede næsten at vende om, men heldigvis besluttede vi os for at fortsætte indtil vejens ende. På det tidspunkt opdagede vi en parkeringsplads, og da vi steg op ad bakken og nåede toppen, åbnede der sig en fantastisk strand for vores øjne. Den var ikke alt for overfyldt, og vi formåede at finde solsenge lige ved vandkanten. Det var en lille, skjult skat og helt sikkert værd at besøge.

We decided to visit the beach after finding out that the restaurant was closed. It was definitely worth it! We had a great time here. The water was peaceful and transparent, and the beach was exceptionally clean. Since it's a private beach, we had to pay 5000lek per person for a hammock, and it wasn't allowed to simply lay on the sand. However, it was still worth it! We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic walk from Durrës, surrounded by beautiful nature.

Please keep in mind that the location you are rating is a government-owned facility with limited public access. It is likely that you are actually referring to one of the nearby private beaches.

Stranden er ret dejlig med krystalklart vand og lette, fine småsten. Dog er det ikke den slags strand for dem, der søger en vild oplevelse.
