The beach is directly accessible by 4WD, or you can park your 2WD in the carpark, which has toilets and two outdoor showers, and walk over the sand dune to reach the beach. I had a fantastic time kitesurfing on the first day. On the second day, conditions were perfect for learning how to surf. However, on the third day, a significant amount of seaweed tangled around my legs and leg rope, making it more challenging to surf. The beach features white sand and lovely clear water when seaweed isn't present. This beach is better than the front beaches, which sometimes have a stench of rotting seaweed (though I'm told they are beautiful when the seaweed is not present).
